April Adventures

So, it appears as if those themes of Food, Family, and Friends are pervasive in my life.  April brought a little more of all of those.  Are you up for another pictorial recap??

We love it when the gardens at Thanksgiving Point open up for the season.  For those of you who've seen this big fountain, haven't you always wanted to just crawl into those tubs???

A birthday cake for Dale who celebrated his nth 29th birthday!
An awesome sushi fest with a sister and a crew of nieces and nephews.  I'm not sure where Cathy was for this one, but maybe she'll join us next time.
A quick trip to the children's museum taught us that we could have a weather girl on our hands -- as long as she's telling the weather in Cheyenne!
Another Derby Girls gathering with excellent food again! Love those girls.

Easter baskets.  Yes, Daniel's was an ammo container.  Don't ask.
And we had the Easter bunny at our hunt!
Another month, another trip.  This time we headed to St. George with my nieces and their families.  So fun!!!  Not very warm for St. George, but so fun.  Among the activities, we played a couple of mean games of Funny Bones (a classic from the 70's).  Dave and Heather were clearly the most competent.

Same trip.  Less compromising poses.  But this was a mean game of Capture the Flag, and it's hard to run uphill in sand.

Nielsen's frozen custard in St. George.  Eli's face tells the story.  Yum!
Before the custard, we tackled the crack in the rock.  First you see us going in, then you see it from the top down. I can still do it going sideways.  Maybe I should make an annual trek to St. George, just to make sure I can do it each year!

I can't believe how quickly we forget how much we have done this past year--I feel like your blog is like the KSL top ten stories of the year.
